CareMyPlant (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the CareMyPlant mobile application and website (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Services, you agree to this policy.

When you register or update your profile, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and password (stored securely in hashed form).
When you shop, subscribe to a care plan, or book a gardener visit, we collect order details, delivery addresses (line, city, state, postal code, country), plan selections, and payment confirmation data. Card and UPI payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your full card number. We may receive payment IDs and status from Razorpay to confirm your purchase.
If you use My Garden or AI Plant Doctor, we collect plant nicknames and care-related data you provide. When you take or choose a photo for diagnosis, that image is uploaded to our servers, analyzed by our Plant Doctor service, and stored so we can show you health scores, tips, and history.
With your permission, we collect a push notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging), device platform, and app version so we can send order, care, and diagnosis updates. You can disable notifications in system settings.
We may collect basic technical logs (such as API errors) needed to operate and secure the Services, and information you send when contacting support.
We do not sell your personal information.
We share data only as needed to run the Services:
We keep account, order, and plant-care data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention requirements) by emailing support.
We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
The Services are intended for adults and general audiences, not for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent for optional processing (such as push notifications). Contact support@caremyplant.com.
We primarily serve customers in India. If you access the Services from elsewhere, your information may be processed in India or other locations where our providers operate.
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated policy.
